Personal Trainer Today Asks Malminder…How To Combat Loneliness

Loneliness Tips from London’s Leading Life Coach

Featured on the leading personal training website, Personal Training Today, Malminder Gill shares her top tips for how to combat loneliness.

With loneliness being particularly prevalent during the festive season, Personal Training Today asked Malminder, an expert life coach, what people can do to minimise and combat the feelings of loneliness.

Top Loneliness Tips From Malminder

One of Malminder’s first tips is to really deep dive into what makes you feel lonely. There could be lots of reasons why you may feel isolated, such as a lack of invites to social situations or perhaps you feel you have no one to talk to. Try to spend time working out exactly why you feel lonely, so you know precisely what needs addressing.

Another tip that Malminder shares with Personal Training Today readers is to be vocal about loneliness. So often, we rely on others to make plans. Sometimes, we keep quiet about how we feel, not knowing that others may be feeling exactly the same. If you speak up and let people know you are feeling lonely, you may be surprised about the amount of support you receive. What’s more, it may surprise you to know just how many people are feeling the same way.

Another loneliness tip from Malminder is to focus on exercise. Exercise is a great way to release those feel-good endorphins, which can give you a new perspective on a situation. What’s more, if you join a gym class or exercise group, you’ll be creating a great, supportive network which may help to combat the feelings of loneliness.
