Trying to discipline yourself with a negative internal voice doesn’t work and here’s why.

Negative internal dialogue is a common problem that many people struggle with. It can be a source of stress and anxiety, and can lead to feelings of low self-worth and self-doubt. Unfortunately, many people mistakenly believe that negative internal dialogue is a form of motivation. However, this is not the case.

Negative internal dialogue is not a form of motivation because it does not provide any positive reinforcement. Instead, it focuses on the negative aspects of a situation and can lead to feelings of discouragement and helplessness. Negative internal dialogue can also lead to a lack of confidence and a feeling of being overwhelmed.

Positive internal dialogue, on the other hand, is a much more effective form of motivation. Positive internal dialogue focuses on the positive aspects of a situation and encourages you to take action. It helps to build self-confidence and provides a sense of control over your life. Positive internal dialogue can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, and can help to create a more positive outlook on life.

Negative internal dialogue is not a form of motivation and should not be used as such. Instead, focus on positive internal dialogue and use it to motivate yourself to take action and reach your goals.
